Chickpea hummus: the simple and quick recipe
The recipe for chickpea hummus is as simple as it is versatile; it is perfect served as a snack with drinks, or as a single dish.

Preparation of chicpea hummus

To prepare chickpea hummus, drain the chickpeas and place them in a mixer; be sure to leave some to one side for later, for the final decoration. Now add a pinch of salt, the tahina and the juice of half a lemon; peel and remove the gem from the garlic clove before adding it too, followed by the Extra Virgin Olive Oil Delicato. Blend into a homogeneous cream (add a couple of spoons of water if necessary).

Place the resulting cream in a bowl and season the chickpea hummus with some sweet paprika, a drizzle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil, the chickpeas left to one side, the finely chopped parsley and some delicately toasted sesame seeds.

The chickpea hummus is ready and can be served as a dip for vegetables, with bread or Carli Crispy Genoese Focaccia biscuits.
