To make the red wine cookies, put the flour, the sugar, our Rossese di Dolceacqua D.O.C. wine, our Pure Olive Oil and the baking powder in a bowl. Slowly begin to amal-gamate all the ingredients until you have a smooth dough similar to that of shortcrust. For the white wine cookie variant, carry out the same steps but use our Pigato Riviera Ligure di Ponente D.O.C wine. instead.
Take a bit of dough and make little sausages about 1 cm in diameter, cut them to a length of about 6 cm and then fold over into a ring doughnut shape.
Transfer the wine donuts to a oven tray lined with parchment and bake in a hot con-ventional oven at 350°F for 15 minutes: the cookies will be ready when have turned light brown.
