Baked pasta omelet: quick recipe
Baked pasta omelet is a very tasty and very easy main course. Also an excellent way of using leftover pasta from the day before.
Preparing baked pasta omelet
To prepare a baked pasta omelet, first heat some water in a pan. As soon as it comes to the boil, add salt and cook the Spaghetti for 8 minutes (two minutes before it is al dente).
Turn your conventional oven on to 350°F and start preparing the pasta sauce by beating the eggs in a bowl. Add a grinding of black pepper, the diced scamorza cheese, two-thirds of the grated parmesan, the milk and amalgamate. The ingredients for the baked pasta omelet are ready.
Drain the pasta and add it to the eggs, stir and transfer to a 9-inch-diameter, high-sided hinged baking pan previously greased at the sides with Pure Olive Oil and with baking paper covering the base.
Sprinkle the remaining parmesan over the top then place in the hot oven and bake the pasta omelet for about 35 to 40 minutes until the surface is golden. You can now tuck into your pasta omelet or serve it to your guests.
