Mexican style Beans and Tuna salad
A colorful and tasty dish
Method
To prepare the Mexican style beans and tuna salad, first clean the spring onions, slice them thin and brown in a pan with a drizzle of our Pure Olive Oil for a couple of minutes.
Add cumin, coriander, paprika and chili pepper and let the spices warm up for a few seconds. Add the beans, tomato pulp and season lightly with salt. Cook for about 5 minutes over medium heat, stirring often. Remove from heat and begin assembling the beans and tuna salad.
Place the beans in a salad bowl, add our White Tuna Filets in Olive Oil and the sliced avocado. Season with chopped parsley, a squeeze of fresh lime juice and a drizzle of our Extra Virgin Olive Oil Delicato.
This Mexican style beans and tuna salad is great to eat warm. You can accompany it with basmati rice, depending on your taste.
